"One World, One Language"
Jamming Over Borders (J.O.B.) is a student led, international organization based in Prague, Czech Republic. It was founded in 2013 by the pianist Joshua Bieber and the saxophonist Justin Do (see members) with a goal of raising awareness of important global issues and connecting student musicians across the globe through the music they create. The concept was inspired by the organization "Playing For Change" and we hope to bring the same creative thoughts and intentions to students and youth around the world. The project functions in three major steps: Our arranger selects a song, selects performers and writes an arrangement for the selected students, the musicians learn and record the music and send it back to be mixed and edited into the final product. By using our respected musical and visual talents, aggregated together, we hope to move in the direction of our goal of artistic and intellectual unity and connectivity between youth across the globe.
